A new review paper is published by SDA-Lab at the journal of “Structures- Elsevier”. Th title of the paper is “A review of mobile sensing of bridges using moving vehicles: Progress to date, challenges and future trends” and is authored by Dr. Abdollah Malekjafarian, the leader of SDA-Lab, Mr. Rober Corbally, a PhD student and Mr. Wenjie Gong, a former Masters student at SDA-Lab. This paper reviews 154 papers in the field of vehicle-assisted bridge monitoring with a particular focus on the ones published in the last few years. It also highlights the works published by new game players in this field across the world (e.g. from MIT, Leigh University and University of Alberta). It also identifies the main challenges and limitations which must be overcome in the coming years, and drawn a clear picture from the future research directions.
