A new paper published by Dr. Amiya Pandit and Dr. Abdollah Malekjafarian from SDA-Lab in collaboraiton with Dr. Ehsan Noroozinejad Farsangi from the University of British Columbia, Canada and Dr. Saleema Panda from British Applied College in UAE. The title of the paper is “Seismic resilience enhancement of MDOF systems utilizing a hybrid TMD‑TLD”. This paper proposes a novel hybrid tuned mass damper (TMD) and tuned liquid damper (TLD) system (TMD + TLD) for vibration control of multi-degree of freedom structures under seismic excitations.
